WATERLINE IMPROVEMENTS VARIOUS LOCATIONS

This project included the installation of water lines, valves, fire hydrants, service lines, and other associated accessories in multiple locations throughout the City. All work required extensive business and residential coordination to minimize impacts. Total quantities included: 25,460 LF of pipe, 144 valves, 75 water main reconnections, and 12,559 SY of asphalt paving.  

GMP 1: Achen-Gardner Construction installed 10,800 LF of water lines (4” to 12”), 65 valves (6” to 12”), 2,400 LF of services (3/4” to 2”), 37 water main reconnections, and 5,900 SY of asphalt paving. Work was safely completed in two heavy-traffic areas: Bethany Home Road from 59th Avenue to 67th Avenue; intersection of 59th Avenue and Olive Avenue.

GMP 2: Achen-Gardner Construction installed 5,600 LF of water lines (6” to 12”), 45 valves (6” to 12”), 1,200 LF of services (3/4” to 2”), 23 water main reconnections, and 3,570 SY of asphalt paving. Work was safely completed in two heavy-traffic areas: 59th Avenue south of Olive Avenue to Royal Palm Road; intersection of 67th Avenue and Olive Avenue.

GMP 3: Achen-Gardner Construction installed 5,400 LF of water lines (8” to 12”), 34 valves (8” to 12”), 60 LF of services (1”), 15 water main reconnections, and 3,089 SY of asphalt paving. Work was safely completed in one heavy-traffic area: Deer Valley Road from 59th Avenue to 67th Avenue.
