| Lower Buckeye Road Paving and Storm Drain Project Owner: City of Phoenix Project includes widening Lower Buckeye Road (35th Avenue to 39th Avenue) to two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. In addition to new curb, gutter, sidewalk and lighting, new bus pull-outs will be created to the east and west of 35th Avenue. Storm drains 60” to 15” in diameter will be upgraded in Lower Buckeye Road (35th Avenue to 43rd Avenue) as well as coordination with Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) to remove and upgrade the railroad tracks at 37th Avenue to accommodate SRP irrigation improvements in this area.
