The Phoenix Small Diameter Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project includes the rehabilitation of VCP sewer lines with the CIPP method, PVC lined concrete sewer pipe with T-lock joint repairs, and the rehab of existing manholes. The pipe sizes ranged from 8” to 42”. The project’s 28 JOs have been located throughout the City of Phoenix with a total contract value of $14,200,000. To date 166,000 LF of pipe has been rehabilitated with heat-cured felt-reinforced and CIPP, 4,000 LF with Ultraviolet Light. An additional 21,000 LF of pipe required T-lock repairs. The work includes cleaning, videos (pre/post), bypass pumping, liner installation, reinstatement of laterals, restorations and traffic control. The project started in July of 2008 and the next set of JOs (No. 29, 30 & 31) will continue into mid-2012.
