The Scottsdale Small Diameter Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project includes the rehabilitation of VCP sewer lines with the CIPP Ultraviolet Light (UV) Cured method and included top hat lateral seals at every service. The pipe sizes ranged from 8” to 12”. The seven JOs have been located throughout southeast Scottsdale with a total contract value of $5,950,000. To date 3,700 LF of the contracted 65,000 LF of UV pipe rehabilitation has been completed along with 750 of 1,500 top hats. The work includes cleaning, videos (pre/post), bypass pumping, liner installation, reinstatement of laterals, top hats, restorations and traffic control. The project started in July of 2009 and will continue with an additional $6,000,000 worth of similar UV CIPP through the end of 2012.
