Project Owner: City of Phoenix
Project Type: Construction Manager at Risk
Construction Dates: 04/20 to 11/20

This project removed and replaced an existing 15" sewer on the west side of 59th Avenue with a new 30-inch sewer. The new sewer started at the intersection of Dobbins Road and 59th Avenue and tied into an existing 24" sewer before the Laveen Area Conveyance Channel crossing south of Baseline Road. The project required excavation depths up to 27 feet. Total quantities included installation of more than 4,600 LF of 30" sewer line and 15 precast manholes (7' and 5'). The project also included repairs and replacements to the existing roadway, totaling more than 2,000 SY of pavement replacement and more than 7,800 SY of microseal. We also coordinated with the construction of a large retail development on the west side of 59th Avenue.
