Gravity Sewer Loop 101 Expressway at N. Scottsdale Road to 18th Green of the TPC Stadium Golf Course
Project Owner: Optima and City of Scottsdale
Project Type: Construction Manager at Risk
Construction Dates: 02/24 to 11/25
This project included the installation of more than 11,000 LF of 18”, 27”, and 36” of sewer line and 69 manholes in a high-profile area of North Scottsdale. This sewer provides additional capacity for the McDowell Mountain Village and other future developments in this area. The developer (Optima/McDowell Mountain Village Declarant LLC) coordinated with the City of Scottsdale to construct a new sewer line connecting its future McDowell Mountain Village and other area developments to the City’s system and provide the flexibility necessary to meet increased demand. This project included new sewer lines and manholes from Scottsdale Road and Mayo Boulevard to Hayden Road and Bell Road area. This project located between Scottsdale Road, the Loop 101, Hayden Road, and Tournament Players Club (TPC) included critical milestones, deep excavation, and critical stakeholder coordination to maintain access and promote a positive experience. Throughout the project corridor, our ability to self-perform most of this work and our experience on similar projects provided the best value and ensured that the project would be completed safely and on time.
