The Val Vista Transmission Main is a 96” potable water pipeline constructed of pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP), and serves the greater City of Phoenix. This water main supplies more than a million Phoenix residents with water. This project includes the rehabilitation of 3,500 LF of pipe using steel sliplining at various locations. These sites are in the City of Mesa from Lindsey Road and McDowell Road to 48th Street, north of University Drive. We will maintain a close and effective partnership between the Cities of Mesa and Phoenix. Four access portals will be strategically located to minimize traffic and utility impacts.
