Crismon Road Widening - Riggs Road to Cloud Road

Project Owner: Town of Queen Creek
Project Type: Construction Manager at Risk
Construction Dates: 03/25 to 07/25

This project constructed a new roundabout at the intersection of Crismon Road and Cloud Road and a new roadway (half-street) extending Crismon Road south one half of a mile to an existing segment of Crismon Road. We constructed the Town’s first roundabout on a collector street at Crismon Road and Cloud Road. These roadway enhancements improve regional connectivity, traffic flows, driver safety, and access to Crismon High School.

Members of the project team from the Town, Achen-Gardner Construction, Ardurra, and others (pictured above) celebrated the completion of the project at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

We coordinated with the Queen Creek Irrigation District (QCID), Queen Creek Unified School District, United States Bureau of Reclamation, and area homeowners' associations to communicate our schedule of activities and traffic restrictions. The southern extension of Crismon Road goes through private land that is being used for farming, so we coordinated with the property owner to address irrigation activities and tailwater management during and after our construction.

Thank you to the Town of Queen Creek, Ardurra (design engineer), and our other partners for their collaboration in accelerating this work to be complete before school begins.
