This JOC includes a variety of civil construction, including asphalt and concrete paving, concrete structures, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, wet utility improvements, storm drain and catch basins, etc. 

Job Order 1: 15th Avenue - Earl Drive to Catalina Drive Improvements
This project provided a continuous sidewalk on the west side of 15th Avenue between Earl Drive and Catalina Drive, where there was previously no sidewalk. This project also included the removal and replacement of existing driveways, asphalt patching, slurry seal, relocation of water meters to the back of sidewalk, and other Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements. These improvements are adjacent to several residences, a large school, and multiple businesses which require detailed stakeholder coordination to maintain access and minimize disruptions.

Job Order 4: 3rd Avenue – Thomas Rd to Earll Drive Drainage Improvements
This project improved drainage and underground utility infrastructure along 3rd Avenue between Thomas Road and Earll Drive by installing more than 500 LF of 18” and 24” storm drain and relocating existing waterlines. Located directly adjacent to a major hospital, the project required extensive coordination to maintain uninterrupted access for emergency vehicles, patients, and surrounding businesses throughout construction.

Project scope included:

  • More than 500 LF of 18” and 24” storm drain and four manholes

  • More than 400 LF of 6” and 8” waterline and six valves

  • More than 500 SF of valley gutter and aprons

  • More than 900 SY of asphalt paving

  • New sidewalk and 100 LF of curb and gutter
