Achen-Gardner was proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Arizona Chapter American Public Works Association (APWA) Pickleball Tournament on August 6 at The Picklr Tempe. The event helped raise funds for Public Works Expo (PWX), APWA’s national conference, which will be hosted in Phoenix in 2027.
Achen-Gardner employee-owners joined municipal representatives, engineers, contractors, and other industry professionals for an evening of pickleball, networking, and friendly competition. While we did our best to win, the real goal was to have fun, build relationships, and support an important event for the Arizona public works community.
